From my studio I deliver clean, high quality audio with no repeats as WAV MP3 and FLAC. Other file types on request.
Connect to my studio for remote recording via Source Connect or Cleanfeed or your choice of link. You can also direct me remotely using something as simple as Skype or Zoom. I'll always record a local file and send to you at the end of the session.
I provide a full audiobook produciton service directly for independent publishers and self-publishing authors. I work with a professional editor, provide a full production schedule and excellent consistent communicaiton. The process includes a checkpoint sign off for audio quality and creative direction and full proofing and corrections process with opportunity for author input.
For video narration I can provide associated SRT files to match the (final) recorded audio at a per minute rate - SRT files (otherwise known as a SubRip Subtitle file) are plain-text files that contain critical information regarding subtitles, including the start and end timecodes of the text to ensure the subtitles match the audio, and the sequential number of subtitles.

RATES

Rates vary for voice over services depending on the type of VO required and how the recording will be used. If you’re not exactly sure what you need that's fine - please get in touch and we can talk through the options. Its useful to have as much info as possible beforehand: your word count; where, when and for how long it’s going to be used (is it for internal use, online, tv, radio etc).

My rates are competitive and I'll always try to work with you - within your budget. Like most voice actors I charge a ‘BSF’ (or ‘basic studio fee’) for corporate and commercial work and this covers pre-production work, my time and expertise to record your script, hire of the studio, insurance, hire of equipment, editing & audio cleanup and delivery of audio files in your chosen format. My current BSF is £250 per hour.

As an Equity member I work to the Equity ILR rate card for radio commercials, and Usefee for TV usage. For other areas the GFTB rate card can be a useful guide.

Audiobook narration is charged per finished audio hour. An audio hour is usually roughly 9300 words (although this can vary according to genre and type of material. Please contact me to discuss audiobook narration or full audiobook production rates.
